Richard Long and Kosho Ito at St Ives
Emmanul Cooper travels to Cornwall to experience new installations by British land artist Richard Long and Japanese artist Kosho Ito at Tate St Ives.
Long daubs local mud, or slip, onto the large curving walls of the main gallery. Ito masses high fired ceramic fragments to create swathes across floor and wall, which carry both geological and environmental associations
