Phil Rogers describes the thoughts behind his new work, from new shapes made away from the wheel to new surfaces combining his stoneware glazes with a salt firing.
Jane Perryman's latest work looks at weight, volume and balance in her handbuilt, sawdust-fired vessels.
Both potters have solo shows at Contemporary Ceramics this summer.
