Frederick Payne combines glass fibre with porcelain
Thin sheets of fibreglass are submerged in porcelain slip and then dried to a leatherhard state. Layers of the sheets are combined to make a laminated, self supporting structure. Once lit the intricate patterns of the laminate are revealed.
