An eight-month residency with exuberant potter Sandy Brown
German potter Julia Beyer spent eight months working with Sandy Brown in Appledore, Devon. She describes Sandy's approach and working methods and the liberating effect of the experience on her own work. Technical notes include clay slips, a range of clear and white glazes plus additions for colour. All fired to 1275C oxidation.
