Jo Dahn finds much to contemplate in the work of Swedish artist Eva Hild
Until Jo Dahn visited Eva Hild's studio she had never encountered her work in the flesh. From photographs, the large-scale sculpture seemed to exemplify what Dahn had begun to think of as a 'neo-formalist' tendency in contemporary ceramics. In this four-page feature Dahn investigates whether 'neo-formalist' might usefully be applied to Hild's practice.
