In this six-page feature, Sara Moorhouse reveals how her love of the arable landscape inspired her to investigate the optical effect of coloured bands on the surface of conical forms. PhD research at the Black Mountains of South Wales, and Mount Rigi in Switzerland, resulted in her development of the Tilt Effect.
