Elizabeth and Vivian Jones discover Victor Hugo's harvest jug on Guernsey
In this two-page feature, Elizabeth and Vivian Jones travel to Guernsey and discover an exquisite example of a 1760 North Devon harvest jug at Hautville House, the former residence of Victor Hugo (1802-1885). He lived in exile there until 1870, by which time he had filled his home with incredible colour, imagery, and artefacts.
