Potter Nicholas Rena takes a considered view of the recent large scale ceramic sculptures of Richard Deacon. More usually associated with wood, metal and Lino, Deacon has produced a series of heavy forms - 'fat, sluggish and ungainly' Rena suggests, 'with strong bodily sensations'.
