A wake-up call for production tableware
Marcus Holmes reports on a seminar given by fashion designer and style guru, Wayne Hemingway to the Ceramic Industry Forum in November 2001. Hemingway looks at some design classics from the 60s and 70s by Eve Midwinter, Denby and John Clappiston's team at Hornsea Pottery. He also mentions contemporary designer makers who are producing modern innovatiove solutions which could help to rejeuvenate the ceramic industry as a whole.
