The CR Index allows you to search the entire contents of every issue, giving you access to over thirty years of studio pottery knowledge.
Article profiles
To help you find exactly what you are looking for, we are compiling profiles of every article published.
These include the number of pages and images, a summary of the text and whether the article includes technical notes or a making sequence.
This undertaking will be completed over a period of time. At present profiles are available for CR183 onwards.
Where a magazine is no longer available you can buy a printed copy (black and white) of individual articles for a small fee. (Individual articles are not available if the magazine is still in print.)
Using the Index
To search the entire Ceramic Review index:
1/ Select the category - by subject, potter or contributor.
2/ Select subject and choose from an alphabetical list.
3/ Select Potter or Contributor and enter their surname.

Each search result appears as an issue number in bold followed by the relevant page number.
A comma separates each result e.g. 10. 2, (in the subject index CP indicates colour pictures; P indicates black and white photographs; D drawings, designs or diagrams; a semi-colon separates sub-headings.
Click on the issue number to go to the contents list for that magazine.
Please note that the index is very detailed and the reference may be anything from a mention in a letter or news item to a full article.
From the contents list click the article title to see an article profile.
Tip: To find articles, type in the subject or name in the 'Search by keyword' at the top of the screen.
