An afternoon with Lise Herud Braten

On 23rd November we will be welcoming renowned Potter, Lise Herud Braten, for an afternoon of conversation and demonstrations.

Using a combination of hand building, wheel throwing, and Japanese ceramic techniques, Lise creates decorative and sculptural forms with highly textured, expressive surfaces. Memories of growing up in a rugged landscape in Norway inform both shapes and mark-making, imbuing the pieces with a sense of place.
