In the past two years, I have had the privilege of working on an Arts Council-funded project that has allowed me to push the boundaries of my craft. This journey took me to Japan, where I immersed myself in the country's vibrant pottery culture. Exploring different towns and cities, I not only discovered new materials and tools but also had the opportunity to learn from the masters of handmade objects. This experience provided valuable insights into the techniques and artistry of Japanese pottery. One of the highlights was sourcing two types of red to create a stunning new tone for this new body of work. And of course, the rare Haze wax, which is the base for the new wax sticks that I have formulated. Now, I'm thrilled to invite you to my upcoming exhibition in London this summer. Featuring a fresh body of work, the show will give you a glimpse into my artistic journey and the inspiration I have found along the way.
