A risk-taking young maker whose work evolves quickly, Rebecca Appleby creates abstract clay sculptures that explore the relationship between the urban and the organic. Through this series, she experiments with larger, more minimal works, introducing the use of strong flat colours, geometric carvings and metal frames.
