A Three Day Workshop for Intermediate Throwers
Forming Shapes with Intention & Accuracy
A three day workshop for intermediate throwers who would like to learn to throw with speed and accuracy.
This practice-based throwing course is aimed at intermediate throwers who want to build confidence. Repetition is an important method to gain confidence and skill. In reproducing the same item over and over again, to the same standard you are converting conscious movements into a subconscious action. Once you have mastered technique, intention and accuracy, speed will naturally follow - allowing you to throw in a fast and measured way.
The workshop includes demonstrations of techniques, plus one-to-one tuition with one of our Senior Throwers.
Aim of the Course: To become confident in forming shapes with intention & accuracy.
The Workshop Covers:
- Practicing the Three Pull technique
- Practicing form and throwing to specific measurements.
- Practicing repeating the same form to achieve consistency and speed
